Cheralyn Whetstone is an awarding winning Realtor since 2003 with experience in the Virginia Beach and Hampton Roads market.  Cheralyn has extensive background in all types of Real Estate transactions both Listings and Purchases and has been committed to Property Management since 2005.

Cheralyn is a certified ABR- Accredited Buyer Representative, ASP- Accredited Staging Professional, CRS- Certified Residential Specialist, CDPE- Certified Distressed Property Expert, ePRO, MRP- Military Resource Professional & SFR- Short Sale & Foreclosure Resource Certification. 

Cheralyn is devoted to giving back to the community, she on the Board of Directors for Equi-Kids & Equi-Vets, Chairperson of Children’s Hospital of the Kings Daughters (CHKD) Seashell Circle fundraising & Committee member for Armed Forces YMCA of Hampton Roads. Cheralyn volunteers for numerous charitable events and equine related rescues.  She is active within Lago Mar Civic League and Oceana Wives Club. Cheralyn is an accredited Swim Life Instructor, teaching survival swim lessons to infants and toddlers and is passionate about preventing childhood drownings.

Cheralyn has earned Platinum, Gold & Silver Status recognition from Hampton Roads Realtor Association (HRRA) for nearly 20 years in a row!  She is committed to her relationships, Buyer-Seller and both Tenant & Owner advocate as their Property Manager. Cheralyn is a devoted mother of two and wife of retired Navy Captain and Naval Aviator of 26 years. As a Navy spouse,  she is empathetic to the trial and tribulations of military life and works extensively with military owners, buyers, and tenants to ensure their Real Estate experience is a positive one.

 Cheralyn loves animals with a specific passion for horses.  Her hobbies all involve spending time with her family, mini-schnauzer "Penny", "Dempsey the cat and off-track rescue Thoroughbred horses.  She is an accomplished equestrian rider, coach and her daughter’s biggest fan.    

In her spare time, Cheralyn is available for private Infant/Toddler Survival Swim lessons in Virginia Beach as a certified Swim Life Instructor.  As a gifted communicator, Cheralyn loves working with children in and out of the water & is a firm believer that ALL childhood accidental drownings can be avoided. Cheralyn is passionate about teaching adults to embrace water safety for their children through proper lessons.
