Shelley Comerford is a lifelong resident of Hampton Roads and currently resides in Portsmouth, VA. She attended Chowan College and majored in Athletic Training. As an athlete herself, she wanted to be involved with aiding other athletes while off the playing field. Shelley truly enjoys helping others and rises to the challenges set before her. With the passion she had for helping others, Shelley found herself employed in the sales/ customer service industries for 23 plus years and has had the privilege of working with several reputable local investment firms.
The City of Portsmouth appointed Shelley to serve on the Board of Zoning Appeals in 2020. Boards and commissions serving the community are valuable to the citizens and the municipal government. Shelley is able to contribute to the effectiveness of the commission utilizing her knowledge and expertise of Real Estate.
She was launched into the real estate world when her own agent recognized her vibrant personality, kind thoughtful nature and her developing passion for finding her own home. Currently, Shelley focuses on providing the highest level of care, patience and commitment to each and every client no matter the type of transaction. With our military having such a large presence in Hampton Roads, Shelley has made it a top priority to be particularly knowledgeable of the unique needs of veterans and active service members. Mrs. Comerford recognized early on that a Realtor who has extensive experience working with military clients can help you better navigate the process whether selling, buying, needing a property manager or renting. Her main goal is to ensure owners, buyers and tenants receive the most positive Real Estate experience possible.
Mrs. Comerford is a loving mother of two and wife of a Veteran Air Force Officer. In her free time you can find Shelley on a softball field coaching her daughter or boating and fishing with family and friends. She is an avid lover of all things "family, boating & softball" and will work as hard as possible to be able to slip away and enjoy them from time to time.
